SKI AREA

We’re based in the Ski Amadé, one of Europe’s biggest ski areas. The Amadé is made up of some truly great skiing; the World Cup resorts of Zauchensee, Schladming and Flachau combine perfectly with traditional alpine resorts to create a truly Austrian experience. Austria is renowned for it’s love of ski racing but fans of freestyle skiing can also enjoy the world famous Absolout Park in Flachauwinkl-Kleinarl and the Snowpark in Gastein.

People who come here for the first time are always impressed – modern lift systems, beautiful mountain restaurants, world-class après-ski all make this a truly great ski area.

APRÉS SKI

Flachau is the hot spot for après ski. Hofstadl and Dampfkessel are the biggest draws, offering you a party like no other. Found directly on the piste, these two Apres Ski temples will keep the drinks flowing and the music pumping all night long. If you’re looking for something a little more intimate, every resort will have several “Schirm Bars” (umbrella bars) too but beware…. these have the potential to get just as raucous.

NIGHTLIFE

Believe it or not, some people still prefer something a little more civilised, if that’s you then we have you covered. We have a wonderful blend of traditional Austrian restaurants together with food from around the world. If it’s bars you’re after, then favourites such as Ema’s Pub and Metzgerloch will keep you entertained until the early hours.

ALTENMARKT

Our Austrian headquarters are in the picturesque alpine town of Altenmarkt which as its name suggests simply means ‘Old Market’. Altenmarkt grew around it’s market to become an important town and whilst much has changed, the old market square still remains nestled between the church, the town hall and several hotels.

Altenmarkt is blessed with some truly fantastic restaurants, inviting wine cellars as well as a vibrant bar scene; hotels in Altenmarkt also come highly recommended so any family who may want to visit will certainly be more than satisfied – they may want to come back again!

For more relaxation we have a thermal bathing resort and spa in Altenmarkt giving you the chance to relax in an outdoor salt water pool, under the stars. We also have ice skating, snow tubing and a 6km floodlit sledge track to keep you entertained! For those of you eager to get in some more exercise, we have membership discounts available with a local gym, offering ideal facilities for the fitness fanatic.
